Food was very good, but the wait for our table and the extended wait for our food was disappointing. That alone took well over 40 minutes. Our server was very pleasant and so was the staff.

All their food is so delicious. High quality for not bad prices. A little chilly when it's cold outside especially by the windows. Love their ice tea. Sometimes the dishes and glasses do not smell clean and can have a noticeable yucky odor.

The place is very busy and quite small for so much business. Staff was very helpfull, food was exelent and Erick was a great waiter. Overall is was a very good first time experience. I will highly recommend this place.

It was a Sunday afternoon and the food was delicious! It is a nice quaint spot as well. Just can't go with 5 stars because the wait to get in was very long and then we waited for the food for a long time. I think they do the best they can but they have a glhard time keeping up. I'd recommend going but be prepared to be patient.

All the food is home made and the weekends are always packed solid. I went during the week and was not disappointed. Will be back again!

I just stopped by once but I loved the setup. The restaurant felt more like a local family diner then a corporate one. The building is bright yellow so you can't miss it. The food is very good and large in size. I ordered a turkey link and cheese omelette to go. Very nice.

Better get a reservation! This Brookfield breakfast joint has all the appeals of both a family style restaurant and a high end brunch local. They staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the environment was comfortable. Its worth going out of your way to partake in foodstuffs at this fine establishment.

Best Eggs Benedict I ever had! This was my 1st time here. My hubby has been here years ago. Has always been pleased. My little guy actually ate all his pancakes. He normally doesn't. He wolfed his down. Now mind you he didn't want to eat but boy did he mow!

We went on a Saturday morning so the wait was pretty lengthy. There’s some pretty interesting choices on breakfast classics (I wasn’t willing to brave the bacon pancakes). Went with the pecan waffles, it comes with a tropical syrup that was really good. Someone in our party ordered the crepes and they were over cooked, our waitress was super nice and took that off our bill without us even complaining.

The Dutch Baby! Get the Dutch Baby, it’s worth the wait! It takes about 20 minutes and it’s a bowl shaped pancake that you put butter andpowdered sugar on - and squeezed lemon juice! And maple syrup. It’s heavenly and The Original Pancake House does it better than anyone.

Orange juice, 8 ounce glass, $4.50? Are you kidding me? Food good. Dennys just as good for a fraction of the price.

First time there and in Milwaukee. Waiter was awesome and attentive. Food was great. If you plan to go use the call ahead setting. They are very busy because of the great quality. I highly recommend them.

They had me at "would you like a coffee to go? It's included!" Best bacon I've ever had at a breakfast spot. It's so thick! All of their whipped cream is home made and DELICIOUS. My chocolate chip pancakes came with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It was a dream. The omelettes are massive!! Very fluffy and delicious. The fresh squeezed orange juice was an nice treat too. Can't wait to come back!

Long wait even if you call ahead. No place to wait inside and only a small place to wait outside. Once in, the food and service were good.

Great food. Large party and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Plate size omelettes are fluffy. Pancakes on the side are tasty and not too much. Friendly service. Huge parking lot. Often crowded, especially on weekends, so include wait time. Large parties can call ahead. Open for breakfast and lunch, serving breakfast.

This is a great place for breakfast or brunch in a convenient location. We did not have reservations, although I am not sure if they will take them. We did wait about 45 minutes, which was ok because we were waiting on someone who was late.We finally got seated in the middle of the room. The table was good and we were comfortable there.Everyone's breakfast was good and I look forward to going again.

It was very busy but the service was fast and efficient. Clean and friendly environment. The food was amazing and exactly how I ordered it.

A little pricey for breakfast but the food was delicious. I had their summer special of lemon crepes with blueberry compote and it was amazing. The kids had pancakes and bacon they were happy although I wish there was a kids menu. Kids dont eat a lot so we ended up taking most of their food home.

Most delicious pancakes, extra large bacon and breakfast food. Fresh squeezed O.J. is the best! Call ahead wait list available, but if you walk in and do have to wait...is totally worth it! In nice weather, there is outside seating and a quaint, little, picturesque gazebo. Quick, friendly service. Always a great dining experience.

Good portions, good service

So happy I found my favorite breakfast spot! Service was amazing, as always and the food.... mmmmm the pancakes eggs and sausage combo is the perfect way to start a positive day. Not sure when I will be back in Brookfield, Wisconsin, but believe, this will be my morning stop.

Wonderful service and short wait time for a late morning breakfast on a Thursday. It was a brightly lit and inviting space. The host sat us by the front windows so we enjoyed the warm sun. We had the Western and Mediterranean omelet with a side of potatoes and split the Dutch baby. Everything was delicious and our fantastic server Felicia even offered us our coffees to go which earned her extra brownie points.

OMG. If you want to treat yourself to a breakfast. This is the place to do it. I have never had a bad experience there. I can't wait to go back again.

I haven't been here in years, don't know why.. I had lemon cream cheese crepes, and they were AWESOME!! The place was very busy, but it was a holiday weekend. Highly recommend!

My favorite place to get breakfast food! A tiny bit pricey and you should almost always call ahead for a reservation but their food is amazing. I get the chocolate chip pancakes or the french toast. Staff is great too.

Omelettes are great. Like no where else. I think they might be baked. They have the thin Swedish pancakes with the lingenberry. Just love them. Just like Door County at Al Johnson's. Place is extremely popular. Expect to wait. The people that give this place less than 5 stars are kidding you. Why would there be lines of people waiting to eat here if it wasn't great? Its a little pricey but its a treat to eat here. Enjoy.

Came to Pancake House, since I used to live in Milwaukee years ago. I live in Reno, NV and there is nothing like this place there. Seated quick, service took way too long to show up, maybe 10 min. Server trying to speed things up. No kids menu, calling it the lighter side. Got food in reasonable time. Buttermilk Pancakes still the best. Daughter loves the French Toast and wife loves the Crepes. Coffee is great too. Other than the initial service, still the best.

Food was delicious but we waited for 45 minutes to get in, were rushed and pressured to place our order, got room temperature water for our hot tea, and received our check when we were only a couple of bites into our meal. Overall service was okay-to-poor and the food was a solid good but not worth the wait or service.

The only thing good about this place was our server. The bacon was the texture of beef jerky. I had not one but two hairs in my food. One was on the side of my plate for my French toast. The other was in my fried potatoes. The syrup was like water. Not good at all.

Friendly service and great food. The Staff was attentive and very friendly. Wife tried the avocado toast and eggs and really liked it. I had one of the omelets and it was very good but very large. Big enough for two to share. Definitely a good place to try. Warning get there early. Drove past about 15 minutes before opening and lot was empty except for a few staff vehicles. Came back 15 minutes after opening and the parking lot was filling quickly.

Really nice service. The waitress got our order wrong but fixed it right away. The food took a lot time but it was pretty tasty. Surprisingly large amount of food for the price. All in all it was a good experience. I recommend getting a group of people and then splitting the food amongst everyone.

I went here on a Wednesday morning with a party of three. The wait was 30 minutes. While we waited we watched like 3 hostesses stand around while 1 hostess did all the work. They stood behind the very small counter joking around with each other while 7 dirty tables sat empty waiting to be cleaned. When we were finally seated, our table was dirty and there was food all over the floor. The waiter was amazing which is the only reason for the two stars. The food was very good until one of us found an 8"+ long dark hair cooked right into the pancake. We all lost our appetites at that point. The waiter took the meal with the hair off the bill. Not trying to point any blame but there was a hostess with long hair that was not tied back. My advice would be that everyone have there hair up when working in a restaurant. I attached a pic of the floor under our table. I wish I got a pic of the hair, but the waiter took the plate right away. The food was tasty minus the hair. We wont be back.

The apple pancake was incredible! My son ordered the bacon pancake and really enjoyed that as well. Portion sizes were huge and the food was great! Easily a top breakfast destination!

The food was well presented, and amazing. There were good gluten free options- pancakes, waffles, etc... I called ahead and put our name down to be seated and am thankful I did. We still had a 20min wait when we got there, which was fine, because had we not, it would've been close to an hour wait and we would've gone elsewhere.

Its adorable, very homey! The outside look like a home, the yard outside was really nice. Interior was laid out very nicely, felt so cosy!Everyone inside was very nice and friendly, served with a smile! The food was delicious, a bit pricey but worth it. Kind of disappointed that a side of whipped cream was $2. The coffee wasn't bad, a bit strong. Overall this place was pretty awesome!

Breakfast with the family this morning. The Scrambler was delicious. My family had the Crepes Monte which they stated was excellent. We all ordered the potatoes as our side, they weren't cold but could have been warmer. My daughter had to ask for a different glass of chocolate milk cause the glass was dirty. My wife had to give our waitress one of the knives because it was dirty. Need to pay attention to the details.

Went here when it was pretty busy. Service was good, but food was a little less than freshly made. Overall, a pretty good breakfast joint.

Today, I literally RAN out of that place. The hostess was rude, and tired to seat us at a dirty table. Our server was very nice, however brought us dirty tap water! I had a gut feeling to GET OUT! So I ran..... and I’m so glad! I wouldn’t even give a star.. but they make you give at least one. The whole vibe of the place is off. It just feels eerie, and I just don’t trust a place where the water is horrible!

I was looking forward to coming here with my daughter. But unfortunately everything I ate was pretty mediocre. Everything I purchased I brought home and eventually trashed it. The wait staff was very nice though. But the food didnt live up to the expectations I was hoping for. "Maybe" in a few months I will try them again.

Great service, great food

Finally got in to try the Dutch Baby. It was very different and very tasty. I was a bit surprised to spend $34 (without tip) for a waffle, the Dutch Baby, two OJs and a coffee. No bacon either.

Very bright cheery place for a good breakfast. Good service! It is a little loud... but could just be a Saturday "buzz" of people!

Great pancakes. Very good HOT coffee. I enjoy this place very much. Usually staff is very pleasant and prompt. I will be back.
